Dance holidays

Published by marisawright at 1:03 pm under 1 Edit This

Has anyone ever gone on a dance holiday? I’m not talking about going on a cruise or a resort holiday where a few basic, fun dance classes happen to be available – I’m talking about a holiday where dancing is one of the main activities, if not the main activity, while you’re there.

Examples I’ve heard of recently are a ballroom dancing cruise, a flamenco holiday in the Spanish coastal hinterland, and a tango vacation in Argentina.

Below are some links to dance holiday operators that I’ve come across. I’ve never tried any of them myself – though I’d like to! – but one of my friends did a Carmen de las Cuevas holiday which she loved.

Its on my long list of to do things: I may make my own: salsa in Chile, samba in Rio, tango in Buenos Aires and Paris, Paso doble in Sevilla, Viennese waltz in Vienna and finishing off in Blackpool for the famous dance comp!
